What happens if you approach AI as an opportunity to fundamentally rethink your business, instead of just making what you already do a little better?

Forever Human AI was recently fortunate to host Brian Solis , best-selling author and Head of Global Innovation for ServiceNow, for a private event in Chicago. We had a great conversation about what’s coming next and why AI really is different.

Companies tend to buy technology to make what they already do more efficient, cheaper, faster, or easier to scale. But as Brian pointed out, when companies use AI to make small, linear changes, they leave a huge opening for someone else to take advantage of what AI makes newly possible.

AI creates an opportunity to rethink how work gets done, how businesses scale, and how we bring together people and technology to create something new. That's a much bigger conversation than finding efficiencies in the existing model.

What would you do if you were starting your company today, knowing the technology that’s now available?

What if nothing was sacred?

Ask different questions and you’ll get very different answers. You may even discover new markets.

So instead of asking, “How can AI make what we do today better?” the better question is: “What can we do now that we couldn’t do before?
