Key Responsibilities
Design and govern end-to-end ServiceNow technical solutions across IT and business domains, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and standards.
Lead the technical design and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, and custom applications, with a focus on scalable and maintainable architecture.
Collaborate with business leaders, solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements, solution blueprints, and data models.
Provide technical leadership, platform best practices and hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development, including Flow Designer, UI Builder, Integration Hub, and custom scripting.
Establish and enforce platform governance, coding standards, and best practices across development teams.
Guide the integration of ServiceNow with third-party systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday) using Integration Hub, APIs, and custom integrations.
Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from planning and prototyping to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support / upgrades.
Serve as a technical advisor during pre-sales and project scoping efforts, helping to shape the technical strategy.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with ServiceNow’s roadmap and industry standards.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices within ServiceNow (e.g., Update Sets, source control, Github).
Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities in ServiceNow, such as Predictive Intelligence or Virtual Agent.
Prior experience in a consulting environment, delivering solutions for diverse industries or clients.
Experience in Financial Services, Higher Ed, Utilities or Consumer & Retail industries is a plus.
Ability to design custom Scoped Applications using ServiceNow Studio and App Engine.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Work Environment and Expectations
Full-time position with occasional travel (up to 20%) to client sites as needed. (Open to potential part time / 1099 contract.)

ServiceNow Technical Architect
The ServiceNow Technical Architect is responsible for providing deep technical leadership in the design, development, and governance of ServiceNow solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements. This role works closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the platform is optimized, scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices and the overall architectural strategy.
